A church basketball court isn't where most people envision hosting a luxury reception, but its potential was impossible to ignore. With more than 400 guests, the goal was to make the room feel warm and inviting without losing the sense of scale. Custom drapery, created from fabric sourced overseas, softened the architecture and reshaped the space into a more intimate setting. An 18-foot custom tree became the centerpiece, bringing an organic element indoors and setting the tone for the evening. Having never been transformed in this way before, the venue became proof that thoughtful design can completely redefine how a space is experienced.
